Calling all stilters, jugglers and roving character performers! The Crucible's Fire Arts Festival in West Oakland California is seeking professional circus acts for the evening of Friday July 14th. The theme of the night is "Twisted Fiery Circus" thecrucible.org/fireartsfe...l/index.php and we're looking to tantelize the crowd with devilish delights of a cast of roaming jugglers, stilters, characters/clowns and more! We want people to feel like they've jumped into another world filled with the delights, sights and sounds of a real circus as they wander through the Festival!
We're looking for performer's who can interact with audience members, roam the grounds, bust out a small piece of their act here n there!! Fire Jugglers and the like welcome! There will be a small stipend offered for those who participate as well an all access pass for Friday night!!!
What is the Fire Arts Festival? It's an amazing collaboration of cutting edge Fire Artists of all varieties from the Bay Area coming together to perform, to teach, and to showcase thier talents. This is an annual Fundraiser for The Crucible www.thecrucible.org which is the only non-profit metal arts school of it's kind!!!! It's a leader in supporting the industrial arts with one of a kind stage performances, sculpture and classes galore!!!
